All sunglasses tints (darkest tinted lenses) are designed to reduce the amount of light through the lens however glare from the sun or reflected surfaces can still cause eye strain and squinting. Polarised lenses provide 100% protection from glare and UV rays and are available in Grey, Brown or Green.

Polarised Lenses are ideal for:

  • Fishing – reducing the reflections from the water surface allows anglers to better see floats and action in the water.
  • Skiing/snowboarding – polarised lenses increase contrast allowing skiers to begin to see ‘hidden’ bumps in the snow.
  • Driving – making driving safer by reducing or eliminating sudden glare and the effect from low winter sun.

Photochromic lenses (sometimes called by the brand name Transitions) allow you to have normal lenses and sunglasses in one frame! The lenses automatically adjust from clear to dark and every shade in between.
Avoid greasy fingerprints on your lenses with a smudge resistant coating maintaining clear vision.
Add remarkable resistance against smudging and smearing with a hydrophobic coating to your lens. By effectively ‘filling in’ the gaps that exist naturally between the molecules on the top layer of the standard coatings, a smooth, flawless surface is created that does not collect dirt or dust particles making them easier to clean as well as repelling water.
Blue Shield coating technology has been developed specifically to block the harmful ‘blue-light’ rays that emanate from many frequently used electrical devices (such as LCD televisions, smart phones, tablets, GPS screens, pc monitors etc.) causing eye-fatigue and, in extreme cases, sleeplessness.

It affords the wearer instantly improved comfort with greater perception of depth and contrast.

Honeycomb mesh has been created to reduce exposure to EMI radiation, combat diffused reflections and further reduce chromatic aberration. In layman’s terms, it effectively creates a pin-hole effect that channels (and purifies) the signal reaching the retina producing sharper, clearer vision without eye-strain.
